The location here was amazing, and the staff knew what they were doing; our room was beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Beautiful and atmospheric hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant and absolutely courteous staff. Perfect and excellent location in Vault-de-Lugny right by restaurant, the 14th-Century tower to the moat, and France. Also, in the center of the lawn.

It is a fantastic old moated chateau in the heart of France, that has been beautifully converted into a luxurious and delightful hotel. The restaurant was superb, set in the magnificent old kitchens, wonderful menu, great wine list. We liked everything about it.

Both owners and staff are very welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay very pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant is very good. We also enjoyed the presence of the birds and dogs. Beautiful surrounding for sightseeing by car, bicycle and foot. We hope to go back!

I was amazed by the historic building and beautiful setting of the chateau. The staff was very attentive and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The property had a romantic atmosphere, especially when watching the sunset from the terrace. The location also offered opportunities for activities such as biking and hiking, as well as visiting nearby towns and wineries. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience.

the chateau itself, the rooms, the restuarant, the fireplace in the restaurant, the food and the staff... so pretty much everything was good. but all this put together, plus the birds, the sheep, the vegetables garden, and of course those ancient walls create a great ambiences (something like travelling back in time).

We enjoyed the complementary wine and cheese on arrival which was a lovely touch. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby quaint villages. Our room had a beautiful view of the gardens which made for a peaceful stay.

The restaurant did not live up to our expectations and was quite underwhelming. the food lacked flavor, and the service was not very knowledgeable.

It was enchanting!!! The place was a beatiful castle, the food was exelent. I didn´t wanted to leave. We had a great memory of that stay.
